| Well, the construction on my home bouldering wall has commenced. Today I was off and with nothing better to do, I reclaimed the area that used to be my brush pile/fire area, removed all the stumps, and cleaned the area down to bare soil. The wall is ready to go up. The only thing holding me back is the funds for the lumber, which brings me to my next statement. Anyone who wishes to contribute to the building of the wall, please feel free to do so. By doing so, you will be granted full anytime access to the wall. I will let you know my hiding spot for the holds as I plan on removing them after each session to keep neighbors and strangers from killing themselves. Thanks!! _________________ |

| You know i'm up for helping and I don't mind throwing in some money also. I have a few thoughts on material to save money. The price on OSB has hit rock bottom at $4 for a 4X8 sheet of 7/16". If you double up then you will have a 7/8" panel for $8. I know what your thinking "OSB don't weather well". The top and bottom of the sheets are treated with a wax that is in the resin, the part that needs protecting is the edges. Norbord makes flooring now that has a 30 year warranty even if used on a deck. |
